First Gold Whole Cone Hop (100g Pack)
Bred in 1995 and derived from WGV, First Gold possesses good bitterness and aroma potential, ideal for the kettle. Medium-sized, variegated green cones delivering fresh floral aroma, similar to geranium, with sweet orange-peel, apricot and a hint of spice.
The combined floral and fruit aromas are ideal for modern Blonde, Pale Ale and IPA's, Belgian Blond & Tripels, Biére de Garde and Saison as well as American Pale Ales. Also suitable for modern Pilsners.
