Bred at USDA, Oregan, named after the Oregan Volcano and released in 1989, it is related to Hallertau Mittelfruh and Liberty, delivering low alpha acids and mildly herbal aroma.
Subtle aroma charactootristics make it suitable for Light and Helles Lagers, Bocks and Whest beers, possibly Biere de Garde, Marzen and Oktoberfest too.
