Pilgrim Whole Cone Hop (100g Pack)
Bred from Yeoman in the late 1990's, Phoenix is a high Alpha genuinely dual-purpose hop, rich in oils and with good storage potential. Late additions may not bring strong aroma, so may be better blended with more pronounced noble aroma hops.
Profile suits British Bitters, Pale Ales, Stouts & potentially Helles Lagers too, particularly if no overtly hoppy character is required. For this reason, also suits Belgian Tripel and Saison where floral and slightly spicy character is needed.
